Usually, you will depart almost empty from Jeddah and return with full cabin loaded with pilgrims going to Saudi Arabia. Crew will be based in Jeddah for the whole duration of the contract and will usually live in company accommodation located in the Azzam compound (for people who are new to how this works a compound in Saudi Arabia is where most expats live and is free from the local religious and cultural restrictions that you may face around the country)

ReplyDeleteHi Ika! When you say that you "lost" your document, you mean your flying license right? If yes, I believe you have to declare this during your future interviews. I am not sure about the middle east, but in EU and US if you lose it you must make a formal complaint with the police and the company which released your attestation, because, it's like a driving license or an ID, it can be used for fraudulent purposes. Once you made the complaint you might be able to request for a replacement or ask for a brand new one. If you obtained your cabin crew attestation in KSA, I think you should make a formal complaint there, because your flying license is registered in Government's files, you can't just ask for a new one pretending you have never been cabin crew, especially because it's in the same country where you got your first cabin crew attestation. Hope that helps
ReplyDeleteblessings and good luck
