For all the people who applied to SAS, AGP base here's an update! I received this email this morning:
Thank you for your expression of interest in our recruitment for our Cabin Crew team operating on board our client, Scandinavian Airlines Ireland fleet AGP base.
As our focus for recruitment now is London Heathrow, United Kingdom. The timeline for the Spanish operation has been adjusted accordingly.
Timeline for Recruitment
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to book for a telephone screening in September.
Successful candidates after the phone screening will be requested to upload a video of their skills and career details.
Final interviews for Cabin Crew roles will take place during the month of October.
Training will take place in December for successful candidates
Operation is due to start January 2018
Any candidates that are interested in operating in our LHR base please contact by return email as soon as possible. Please note base transfers are not possible at a later stage.
Candidates that are applying from Gulf carriers such as Emirates, Etihad and Qatar would need to obtain an EU Attestation and Current Police Clearance to be considered for roles.
Due to the high-volume nature of this project, only successful applicants will be contacted.
Kind regards,
What Kind of questions will I be asked during the telephone interview? here are a few:
- Tell me when you exceed a passenger's expectation?
- tell me how an example of how u handled a disgruntled passenger?
- which qualities do you have to be part of the SAS team?
- give me an example of outstanding customer service?
- what do you think would make a difference for passengers when traveling with SAS instead of a low-cost airline
- how do you cope with stress?
I actually had my telephone interview already even if I applied for the AGP base(?) but probably I will be called back in September! Moreover, I know that they will base 4 a320 neo in AGP starting from next year. If u have any queries don't hesitate to contact me, or if you have more info about this new base don't hesitate to share it on this blog!
